Allied Telecom Partners with OnCall

Allied Telecom Group is expanding. And it’s partnered with OnCall Telecom as part of that growth strategy.

The former company is now in the Newport News, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach, Virginia areas. Allied Telecom Group got its start in 1996 selling communications solutions in the D.C. metro area. Since then it’s been expanding in the MidAtlantic and Northeast. It acts as a single point of contact for data transport, internet, UC, and voice services.

The company has had an existing relationship with OnCall Telecom, and with the geographic expansion it’s also expanding this partnership. “As we looked for a partner to support our coverage in Tidewater, it was quickly clear that OnCall was the right fit,” said Melanie Jameson, director of channel development at Allied Telecom Group. “They have proven themselves as consultative technical experts who bring a wealth of support to ensure the optimal solution for each client’s business, and their industry knowledge in that market is unparalleled.”

(Tidewater is a geographic region of southeast Virginia and North Carolina. It’s part of the Atlantic coastal plain.)

OnCall Telecom is a cloud communications company out of Virginia Beach. It assists businesses and other organizations in solving complex technology problems. It does that by delivering education, implementation assistance, ongoing support, and solution design.
