Investors were quick to note that without the net income gained from the sale of its former Genesys subsidiary for €659 million ($872 million) there were continuing challenges on multiple fronts. This was reflected in total net profits for the quarter being €398 million ($526 million). The stock as might be expected has been under pressure since the announcement.
