The use of video collaboration and multimedia Web applications is becoming increasingly important for the mission success across diverse sectors including healthcare, education, banking and military. More and more people are using mobile broadband to share data. Providers are rolling out new bandwidth intensive services to gain competitive edge in the market. Cloud networking is on the rise. All these factors are putting tremendous pressure on the existing networks, leading to unprecedented bandwidth challenges.
To address today’s bandwidth demands and network challenges as well as prepare for the future, more and more companies are investing in next generation wireless network solutions. By supporting today’s highly bandwidth-intensive business applications, these wireless solutions facilitate the true convergence of voice and data. By supporting collaboration and mobility, these solutions help companies build a more efficient workforce. It is hardly surprising that the demands for wireless network solutions are soaring and a number of companies are capitalizing on this explosive growth. InterCloud Systems, a single-source provider of end-to-end information technology (IT) and next-generation network solutions, is a good case in point.
Over the past few months, the company has reportedly been experiencing a dramatic surge in the demands for its Wi-Fi, DAS, small cell and other next generation network wireless solutions. In addition of winning $4.9 million Chicago commercial project deal, the company also sealed a number of network expansion deals with its existing customers. To be precise, the company has reportedly seen more than $3.1 million in additional purchase orders from existing clients.
According to InterCloud reps, the new purchase agreements are reflective of the growing importance of wireless network solutions in handling the massive increase in wireless data usage within the customers' network infrastructure. The company has decided to expand team size to handle the increased demands and capitalize on the market opportunities.
“These new purchase orders demonstrate the growth of wireless network solutions necessary to handle the massive increase in wireless data usage within our customers' network infrastructure. As we see these continued opportunities in next-generation network expansion we are increasing our professional team to service this demand. We continue to scale our sales organization to meet these growing demands,’ CEO of InterCloud Mark Munro noted in a statement.
