Altran, a company that provides high-tech engineering consulting solutions, recently announced that it has joined hands with Alcatel-Lucent (News - Alert) in an industrial project.
Altran’s telecoms and media teams will work with approximately 170 engineers from Alcatel-Lucent’s Orvault site to create an expertise and telecoms services center in the area of Nantes. The companies have been partners from more than 15 years and have pulled off some of the most challenging projects.
Speaking on the partnership, Loïc le Grouiec, country operations manager of Alcatel-Lucent said, “We are very pleased to enter into this partnership project with Altran, the global leader in consulting and innovation, particularly since this will give our highly-qualified employees the opportunity to pursue their careers in the Nantes area. We are sure that the management of Altran will enable our staff to further their professional development in accordance with their talent and expertise.”
Alcatel-Lucent will also be making headlines at the upcoming ITEXPO – taking place Jan. 28-31 in Miami, Florida – with a keynote presentation by Cassidy Shield, VP Marketing, IP Platforms Group, Alcatel-Lucent.
