truIT, and Yahsat, a UAE based satellite operator have joined forces to offer YahClick high speed satellite broadband internet services in Uganda and surrounding areas.
YahClick services are offered through the Y1B Satellite, which is Yahsat’s second satellite that was launched successfully into orbit on 24th April 2012. YahClick is currently available in 28 countries in South West Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
Both the companies are working together to offer free equipment and reduced installation charges for selected YahClick Business service plans up until December 19, 2013. In addition, businesses will be charged the monthly subscription fee and this facility will help them save up to $1,000, according to the company officials.

YahClick service has been offering satellite broadband internet connectivity to businesses, home users, government entities, and non-governmental organizations, offering the latest technologies to un-served and underserved communities.
Businesses in Uganda have an option to pick YahClick business subscription plans that start as low as $185 for speeds ranging from 1 Megabit per second up to 15 Megabits per second. Most of the business subscription plans comes with free equipment and reduced installation charges.
