Second, to address the capacity demands arising in the trans-Pacific region, ALU is upgrading the link between Japan and California using advanced coherent technology.

Connecting the world over with advanced optical transmission capabilities on undersea cables, also made news with the announcement that TE SubCom has successfully demonstrated 100Gb/s per wavelength coherent transmission over trans-Atlantic distances.
