MMRGlobal, Inc. will be demonstrating its MyMedicalRecords Personal Health Record (PHR) offering during Alcatel-Lucent’s ng Connect Telepresence collaboration program at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show (CES (News - Alert)), held January 8-11 in Las Vegas. Established by Alcatel-Lucent, the ng Connect program has been developed as a multiindustry innovation program that includes more than 190 member companies.
MMRGlobal is a specialist provider of secure and easy-to-use online PHRs and electronic safe deposit box storage solutions. In a statement, Bob Lorsch, MMRGlobal CEO, said, "The fact that Personal Health Records are being featured for the second time in as many years in the Alcatel-Lucent (News

While leveraging the MyMedicalRecords PHR patients will be able to enjoy a new connected user experience and will be able to quickly generate a report from a wellness application called MyVitaLink. This will then be moved into the patients MyMedicalRecords Personal Health Record. Once this is done, the patient can then send a secure link to the attending doctor and he can the easily communicate with his doctor via Telepresence videotelephony. As soon as the doctor clicks on the link and authenticates his access with a login password, he will be able to access the record which is stored in the MyMedicalRecords account of the patient.
The collaboration between MMRGlobal and Alcatel-Lucent and its member organizations will help MMR further build on its dedication to enhancing the quality of healthcare while also ensuring cost savings via its patented health IT technologies delivered with generation broadband services. The MyMedicalRecords PHR offering from MMRGlobal has been designed to allow connectivity with any health IT product or service across the globe. Thus, an ng Connect member can easily display MyMedicalRecords and MMRPro products and services to take advantage of potential lucrative opportunities.
