- Alert) recently announced that will be unveiling new products for optimizing enterprise networks. Organizations that are shifting their IT infrastructures to the cloud will be able to use these products to host applications instantaneously and access cloud-based services.
Alcatel-Lucent will also be extending its associate base, further improving the working of corporate networks.
Alcatel-Lucent will be unveiling an improved Application Fluent Network solution. The latest release will allow organizations to alter and optimize the complete corporate network automatically, ensuring simplified and successful support of mobile devices and actual time applications in the local area network, the data center and across the wide area network.
Businesses of any size need to computerize their corporate networks as this will allow them to successfully address the issues related to providing virtualized, very important applications to employees over a high-performance network in a protected manner.
Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise solutions like OmniSwitch 10k, OmniSwitch 6900 and OmniSwitch 6850E have been authenticated as Citrix Ready across Citrix XenApp, Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix NetScaler and Citrix Branch Repeater. These Enterprise offerings have been used for developing Alcatel-Lucent’s Application Fluent Network.
A profile-driven policy is applied by Application Fluent Network after perceiving virtualized applications, allowing the network to adjust virtualized workload traffic on its own. Organizations can therefore guarantee fulfillment of pre-defined service levels as they dynamically regulate network access precedence and bandwidth allotment.
“Employees are becoming increasingly mobile and rely more on smart devices, tablets and virtual applications to do their jobs, putting substantial pressures on enterprise networks to quickly react to changes in workload,” said Rohit Mehra of IDC (News - Alert). “Alcatel-Lucent, with its vision for an application fluent network, solves this problem by providing increased automation within the network, bringing many benefits to the enterprise including simplified operations and being able to keep pace with the rapid and dynamic performance tuning required by virtualized workloads.”
Alcatel-Lucent will also be unveiling CloudBand Management System and CloudBand Node. These offerings, which use the Citrix CloudPlatform, merge the calculating power and flexibility of the cloud with the strong performance, dependability and safety of communications networks.
