ZyXEL Communications (News - Alert), a company offering fully-converged solutions for delivering broadband access, services and applications for home and businesses, has rolled out all-in-one LTE512x series CPE to the North American market.
Users can take advantage of the new LTE512x, which offers high-performance LTE (News - Alert) module and a MIMO antenna array supplying up to 100Mbps (downlink) and 50Mbps (uplink) connectivity for rich, triple-play services including IPTV and Video-on-Demand, voice and high speed Internet.
The LTE512x series includes the LTE5121 supporting Band 4/17 and the LTE5122 supporting Band 13, delivering 4G fixed broadband Internet along with a complete range of connectivity options – Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet, VoIP ports, and support for smart home services like home automation and monitoring.

Interested individuals can use the new LTE512x series to supply LTE-based Internet throughout the home via Gigabit Ethernet, 300Mbps 802.11n Wi-Fi, SIP-based VoIP ports, and USB. The series is ideal for users in residences, SOHOs and mobile point of sales places like mobile cafés.
The LTE5121 is a feature-rich, future-proof hardware platform optimized for multiservice applications. It includes LTE wireless broadband connectivity, two VoIP ports, one PSTN port, home networking via a four-port Gigabit Ethernet, 300Mbps 11n wireless network, and a USB 2.0 port to share devices like printers and storage or OSGi framework.
In addition, the new LTE512x series comes with two sets of dual internal antennas for LTE and Wi-Fi, offering an option to add two external high-gain antennas for improved signal strength and higher performance. Another enhancement includes a user-friendly SIM card cap, preventing accidental ejection of the SIM card.
