Aspera (News - Alert), Inc., a developer of fasp transport technology, the emerging standard for high-speed transfer of large data, announced new software products and capabilities at IBC2011. The company's latest suite of software offerings will advance high-speed content delivery across areas which include file transfer and synchronization, enhancing of file on ad hoc basis, transfer of cloud data and mobile data transfer, as well as organize file-based workflow for organizations.
Aspera Sync allows improved and faster synchronization of storage of large file over WAN 10-1000X. The company's faspframes software application delivers 10 Gbps WAN transport for 2K/4K digital frame files, while its On-Demand Direct-to-S3 is a pioneering solution that enables transfer of any-sized file content via the cloud at very high speeds. Aspera's fasp-MC has been developed as an IP multicast transport capable of delivering high-speed and optimized delivery of media content of any size in IP-multicast enabled networks. The technology is still patent-pending.
The company's faspex server with its dedicated collaborative any size file content exchange across any distance capabilities has been integrated with functions which include collection and reporting of metadata, and enabling of support for new scalable clustered configurations.
Aspera's Orchestrator effectively automates file-based workflows delivered at very high speeds. Furthermore, the company has announced the release of a new Mobile app for Android (News - Alert), in addition to the Aspera Mobile Uploader for iPhone and iPad. Aspera has also introduced a new fasp-AIR SDK which allows optimized fasp data transfer in iOS and Android applications running on 3G/4G as well as wireless broadband connections.

Aspera developed the faspex 2.5 as an enhanced version of its person-to-person file delivery solution which allows collaborative exchange of any size files and directories at high transfer speeds. The Aspera Outlook Plug-in is an innovative Microsoft (News - Alert) Outlook add-on which enables transfer and delivery of large files and directories as attachments from Outlook through faspex servers.
