Miniature solid-carbide thread mills are designed for machining difficult materials such as stainless steels, titanium, Kmonel, Hastelloy, and lnconel for medical, aerospace, energy, defense, and computer industry applications. Thread mills eliminate the need for hand tapping during full bottom threading applications, which can be performed to within one pitch. Pitch diameter and precise thread depth are easily controlled to 2xD so that one tool can be used for both through and blind holes. Indexable Face Mills
Helido S890 FSN family of right-hand indexable face mills have eight helical cutting edges with an 88° cutting edge angle (2° lead) for cutting up to 9 mm depth-of-cut. The new family was designed for general rough to semifinish, high-efficiency face milling, primarily on cast iron and steel components, especially close to shoulders or fixture constraints. Squareshaped S890 SNMU 1305 PN positive rake inserts are produced mainly from Sumo Tec carbide grades. Five-Flute Carbide End Mill

Digimatic digital micrometer uses the Absolute rotary sensor (patent pending) to achieve 0.1-pm resolution, high-accuracy measurement in a convenient hand-held tool. Digital Laser Scanner
Because of its solid-state laser scanner technology, an innovative calibration method and Nikon lens, the LC15DX solid state achieves a probing accuracy of 2.5 pm (0.0001") and a multi-stylus test accuracy of 6 pm (0.00024") in tests comparable to EN/10360-2 and -5. A unique thermal stabilizer inside the scanner body eliminates the uncertainty and delay caused when scanning before it reaches operating temperature. Probe-tip compensation errors are also eliminated by using non-contact triangulation between the laser source, workpiece and CCD sensor to measure the surface of the workpiece directly.
