Biscom and Adaptive Solutions Enhance Biscom for iManage to Support Secure Collaboration
CHELMSFORD, Mass. --(Business Wire)--
Biscom, provider of the AmLaw 200's most secure document delivery
technology, and Adaptive Solutions, Inc., a premier provider of support
and consulting services for law firms, today announced enhancements to
their jointly developed connector for iManage.
Biscom for iManage provides direct access to iManage and eliminates
extraneous steps in the delivery process by enabling legal professionals
to send documents via Biscom directly from Autonomy (News - Alert) WorkSite. It also
allows documents contained in incoming Biscom deliveries to be easily
imported into a WorkSite folder.
The new enhancements include:
Direct upload and import of documents between WorkSite and Biscom's
secure workspace, which offers a protected, collaborative environment
where project teams, clients, and outside counsel can share files and
An improved WorkSite import interface that allows the selection of
multiple files from an incoming Biscom delivery to be uploaded to a
WorkSite folder in a single step.
"Law firms are vulnerable to unauthorized access of confidential
documents during the delivery process, be it by email, fax, FTP or
courier. This is yet another initiative by Biscom to nail down the
security of your document delivery, provide a protected environment for
collaboration, and increase overall productivity," said Charles
Magliato, Biscom's Legal Program Director.
"Undoubtedly, the issues of protecting sensitive documents and keeping
intellectual property secure are top concerns for our clients," said
Chuck Davis, President of Adaptive Solutions. "his risk is compounded
by the proliferation of unsecure file sharing services that many
attorneys turn to when other options don't work. Biscom for iManage
negates that risk by providing an easy, integrated way to send documents
and work collaboratively."
