LiveWire Mobile Selects Inforonics to Monitor Network Performance and Provide Technical Support for Mobile Personalization Services
LITTLETON, Mass. --(Business Wire)-- Inforonics, LLC, a custom managed services and branded technical support provider, announced today that it has signed a contract with Framingham, MA-based LiveWire Mobile, a new division of NMS Communications (NASDAQ: NMSS), specializing in delivering mobile personalization services to mobile service operators. Under the agreement, Inforonics will provide server and device management for LiveWire Mobile's servers, firewalls, load balancers and switches that are hosted remotely in New York and California data centers. Additionally, Inforonics will provide 24/7 Call Center and Tier 1 Technical Support for LiveWire Mobile's ringback services.
LiveWire Mobile's services empower subscribers to create a personalized mobile identity and experience with today's existing communication mediums. The company's ringback service is deployed with over 30 mobile operators around the world, touching more than 185 million subscribers. With nearly seven million active subscribers, LiveWire Mobile decided to outsource its hosting infrastructure monitoring and management, and technical support operations in order to focus on its launch of new services including additional ringback offerings and network-based message and subscriber-focused personalization services.
"LiveWire Mobile was determined to find an experienced partner to handle its call center and managed hosting operations," said Joel Hughes, president, LiveWire Mobile. "Inforonics was just that provider. They were able to present us with a consistent coordination and flow of information and reduce our managed services start-up investment. Inforonics' responsiveness and strong ability to design and implement a quality solution in a short span of time made it the obvious choice for an outsourced technology services partner."
"We are pleased to add LiveWire Mobile to our active portfolio of mobile communications industry companies that are committed to delivering predictable services to its customers," said Bruce Mills, president of Inforonics, LLC. "We understand the intricacies of mobile networks and the load demand that can affect performance.
